To keep us in the holiday spirit, here’s a video of Eclipse doing an Acapella of “Oh Holy Night”. A mellow song for the night, but hopefully it will sooth the soul.
Miley Cyrus, Jimmy Fallon, and The Roots do an Acapella of one of Miley’s biggest hits. While the song itself is seen as widely controversial in nearly all areas, no one can deny the ratings it has been given. This version has a pretty good beat, and everyone is fully clothed, perhaps that’s why this version has gotten less destructive comments.
Here’s some fresh pop Acapella for your boy band listening pleasure. It’s quite a challenge to recreate Carl Falk’s mix at all, let alone with only voices! Let this be a testament to the fact that good music comes in all forms.
Kevin puts so much heart into his music, and this cover is no different. Keeping in the holiday spirit, this song, while not really a classic, was amazing to listen to. Kevin has such a great voice, and so much talent as an artist and video editor. He deserves much more attention than what he currently has.
Pentatonix just put this on their channel. Sure, it’s more of a Christmas song, but I thought it fitting for today. A nice soft sound is a welcomed gift from the everyday hassle. I hope you receive the same calming feeling.
In light of the seasons, a little comedy mixed A Capella couldn’t hurt. When a song is about a turkey, what could go wrong? Complete with all the carvings, this side dish of a song will surely get out a few laughs. The best part is the snappy retorts that are thrown in.
This is another A Capella done by Mike Tompkins, but this time it’s done a little differently. Christina helps him pull off this mash-up of Fall Out Boy and Alicia Keys, and they rock it out! Done with a cool studio feel to it, this song is definitely one to dance to.
For the Portal fans out there, this song will definitely spark memories. The song is simple, but it’s still so much fun. The college choir sounds great, for anyone who is still in highschool and watching this, perhaps you found a college? I think so!
Oh wow, I’m dying. This is by far the most hilarious A Capella I’ve ever seen. Science meets music, all while explaining a new theory. Tim knows how to sing, explain theory, and connect with his fans. That’s a breed of Pokemon I wouldn’t even know what to call. Enough of me nerding out, here’s the video.
Straight No Chaser, an A Capella group, shows off their skills by performing at Carls JR. It’s hilarious that they did this for some great chili fries, but at the same time, it’s sweet. The whole staff enjoys a classic song done in A Capella. I’d definitely take the time to sit back and watch this live. This was one amazing performance.
